Long, busy day for me. I didn't feel like sleeping much, but I'm finally drifting off. I hope you all have pleasant dreams...

The Boss

My dad usually helps with my blog, but he's been a little slow on the ball lately. So, I've had to take control of this operation. Here's me in my office doing his work for him.

The Friendly Skies

I took my first (and second) plane trip ever the weekend before last. I got to experience the joys of changing gates, being delayed, sitting on the runway for a while, and flying through some roller-coaster turbulence. As you can see, I was traumatized by the experience.

From My First Plan...

As part of my master plan, I didn't cry at all, and in fact pretended to sleep almost the entire time during both trips. This way, my parents will be tricked into taking me on a plane again when I'm old enough to exact my carefully-plotted revenge on those pilots and the Chicago weather system in general.

Somebody needs a bib!

Someone needs a bib, and it's me (as in, apparently, I'm the bib!)

4th of July Weekend

Since it was so hot out yesterday, I went swimming in Pop-pop's pool again. I used the floatie that we tried out 4th of July. That reminded me of what a nice time that weekend was, so I've put up some pictures from then - click the photo on the right for the full album.




I do enjoy floating around in the pool, but I have to say that sitting in that thing does not do flattering things with my chin(s)!

Daddy needs a new camera

On Saturday, I met my parents' friends Rebecca and Barrett and my new buddy Ella, who is only a tiny bit younger than me. Of course they all were very nice, and very tall! We all went to lunch and us babies were very well behaved, I must say.

Barrett has a super camera he uses for his blog about "food", "cooking", and "culture" (whatever those are). They took a bunch of pictures that look really good, despite the crazy lighting from the bright sun coming through the window.

I like this one of me and Mommy, but there are lots of other good ones in the rest of the set. I guess my dad needs a new camera like they have, or maybe just needs to learn how to take photos. I mean, did you see this one? Talk about embarrassing, sheesh!

I Love Mommy

My mommy's birthday was last week. Birth days are very important, I know, so I was very excited for her. She says shes already had thirty-something of them! So, in honor of her birthday, I'm going to have 30-something straight posts with pictures, 1 each day. Just keep in mind that I have absolutely no idea how to count yet...

New blog!

I've got a new blog! Well, really, it's the same blog but I'm using a different blogging application because it works better with Picasa, my dad's favorite way to manage all his pictures of me. I was able to import all the old posts, but unfortunately couldn't copy over all the old comments.

I know, it's crazy, isn't it!?!

Flying

I take my first plane trip in . I have no idea what that is, but my parents are nervous about it. If it's anything like swimming or tub time, I'm up for it!
