Can you believe it, I'm ONE year old. What a great year it's been!

Zoo Week!

Yesterday was a very nice day outside. It was a little windy at times, but I had my favorite coat on so that was fine.

Since it was nice out, I decided to get my parents out of the house and took them on our first trip to the Zoo!

Apparently all the other kids in the city had the same idea. Boy was it crowded! That was actually a good thing, since I loved seeing all the people. We had a great time and I have more (better) pictures to share this week, so stay tuned...

The Friendly Skies

I took my first (and second) plane trip ever the weekend before last. I got to experience the joys of changing gates, being delayed, sitting on the runway for a while, and flying through some roller-coaster turbulence. As you can see, I was traumatized by the experience.

From My First Plan...

As part of my master plan, I didn't cry at all, and in fact pretended to sleep almost the entire time during both trips. This way, my parents will be tricked into taking me on a plane again when I'm old enough to exact my carefully-plotted revenge on those pilots and the Chicago weather system in general.

4th of July Weekend

Since it was so hot out yesterday, I went swimming in Pop-pop's pool again. I used the floatie that we tried out 4th of July. That reminded me of what a nice time that weekend was, so I've put up some pictures from then - click the photo on the right for the full album.




I do enjoy floating around in the pool, but I have to say that sitting in that thing does not do flattering things with my chin(s)!

Flying

I take my first plane trip in . I have no idea what that is, but my parents are nervous about it. If it's anything like swimming or tub time, I'm up for it!

Last weekend Daddy tried to get me in Pop-pop's pool, but it was too cold and I did not like it.   But today, it was really hot and the water was warm.  It was like my tubbies, but more fun!

Memorial Day weekend

My first Memorial Day weekend was very nice. My cousin Catey and Aunt Susan came to visit, it was very exciting to meet them!




The weather was great, so we all went to Franklin Square to enjoy the day.

What a week! I got to visit Aunt Chrissy on Tuesday, my Aunt Lauren is visiting me today, and my Aunt Susan (and cousing Catey) is coming next Friday! Here's me with Chrissy, and I'll put pictures of the other aunts once I meet them.

My daddy's parents and sister are coming to visit me ! I am very excited to meet them and play with them.
